Our Purpose
This foundation was born from a dream that began years ago, and we know deep in our hearts that it will make a profound difference in the lives of so many.

About five years ago, a little girl held her mother’s hand as they took the first steps on a path that would forever change their lives. These steps were filled with fear, grief, and uncertainty –but also with light, love, and hope. Childhood Cancer has a unique way of holding all of these emotions at once.

That little girl is the true light behind this cause. Keatan Lily (Kiki) is a childhood cancer and chronic illness warrior, and her spirit radiates a light that is so incredibly special. Those who know her are familiar with her heart of gold and how it shines in ways that inspire everyone around her.

Early on, Kiki and I felt a genuine calling —a pull within our hearts to find a greater purpose through all of this and give back in our own special way. Over time, this calling grew into a dream, and that dream began to take shape.

About two years ago, Asher Lux, her medical alert service dog, entered our lives. He has been nothing short of a blessing and hero to Kiki. He has provided Kiki with a newfound independence while keeping her safe. He is not just a lifeline for Kiki —he amplifies her light. Asher Lux’s name, signifying “hope and light,” perfectly reflects what he brings into her life, and this foundation is built on those same values.

As we move forward, we will share more of Kiki and Asher’s story. For those of you who already know this incredible duo, you are already familiar with just how passionate Kiki is about spreading kindness and offering support to others. From the moment Kiki was first diagnosed, I shared my unwavering belief with her that no matter what was ahead of us, nothing would ever dim her light. I remind her of that often because this is what truly defines her, not the battles she faces. As her mother, it fills me with immense pride and joy to share her beautiful light with more of the world.

We hope that you will join us on this incredible journey as we strive to make the world a little brighter.
